On 16th of 2010, at around 13:00-14:00 hours, the Turkish state army carried obus and mortar attack on the Village of Sinaht and surrounding areas of the village. The Turkish state army continuesly carrying out canon attacks despite our decision of unilateral-ceasefire, and as a result one of our friend martered last month.

We, the HPG (People's Defence Force) Forces have had completely followed the decision of our movement on the cease-fire, since 13 August 2010. Despite of our decision and efforts, however, the Turkish state army continued its military operations, air-assaults, cannon attacks and incinerating of bushes. Besides these assaults, the Turkish state army systematically placed hidden troops in many of the guerrilla areas for a search and ambushes to create an opportunity to find and carry out extensive military operations in order to destroy our Guerrilla forces.
