In the face of the continuous attacks of the occupying Turkish army from the air and land, our guerrilla forces carried out a revolutionary operation in Zap on February 20 as a response our guerrilla forces responded within the framework of legitimate defense.

This action is a revolutionary operation carried out in memory of the guerrillas who have fallen as martyrs recently.

The results of this revolutionary operation were hidden from the people of Turkey and the public, the Turkish army did not disclose the number of dead and wounded, and chose to hide them. The Turkish Ministry of Defense's claim that 17 members of the guerrilla forces were killed in retaliation for the death of the aforementioned soldier is also a fabrication.

The details of the actions carried out by our forces and the attacks of the occupying Turkish army are as follows:

1. Şehîd Axin Muş Unit;

— On February 19, at 08:55, the invaders in the Girê Bahar Resistance Area were targeted and hit by air vehicles. As a result of this action, 1 position was destroyed.

2. Zap region;

— On February 20, at 18:00, a revolutionary operation was carried out against the occupying Turkish army in the Kurojaro Resistance Area.

Our forces, equipped with the selfless spirit of Apoism, advanced from three sides into enemy positions using infiltration tactics and overran it. The invaders’ positions were attacked quickly and effectively. Some of the occupiers fled their positions, while others who responded were eliminated. The capture of the hill took about 20 minutes. During this time, all positions were fired upon with grenades, light hand weapons and automatic rifles at close range and destroyed. A weapons depot, a surveillance camera and a mobile cable car were also destroyed, and five army tents were set on fire. Weapons and other military equipment found in other tents were seized.

The bodies of ten occupiers were inspected by our forces, including a high-ranking commander of the Turkish occupying army. The names of three killed soldiers are Ilhan Köksoy, Hüseyin Özdal and Eyüp Öksüz. However, the Turkish state is concealing the actual extent of its defeat in Kurojaro and has only admitted the loss of soldier Mustafa Uslu. We would like to make the public aware that the official statements regarding our revolutionary operation do not correspond to the truth.

During the revolutionary operation; 1 BKC medium automatic weapon, 4 MPT-55 infantry weapons, 1 grenade launcher, 1 pistol, 4 scopes, 1 thermal camera, 1 MPT-55 weapon scope, 1 radio, 1 power supply, 3 headphones, the occupiers' IDs, credit cards were seized.

In addition, 1 PTZ camera system, 1 A4 heavy weapon and position, 1 BKC medium automatic weapon, 1 grenade launcher, 1 sensor, 1 communication tent, 1 television, 2 telephones, 5 computers and 4 telescopes belonging to the occupiers were also destroyed.

3. On February 21, while a group of our comrades were passing through the Guherzê village of Amadiya, they were treacherously targeted from behind by armed individuals in civilian clothing. As a result, 3 of our comrades were martyred. The identity of these cowardly and devious individuals has not yet been fully established. It is understood from the images that were released that they were civilian vehicles and people in civilian clothes. However, it is not yet clear who exactly the force belonged to. An account will be held for this vile and treacherous ambush. From now on, all vehicles traveling between Daraluk and Amadiya that do not have the Bashur Kurdistan flag on them will be considered enemies and will be targeted by our forces.

4. Şehîd Delîl Western Zap region;

— On February 1, 2 and 3, thermal mobile surveillance cameras belonging to the occupiers in the Girê Bahar Resistance Area were targeted with an assassination tactic. As a result of these actions, 3 thermal mobile surveillance cameras were destroyed.

— On February 6, 1 occupier who wanted to replace the destroyed mobile surveillance cameras in the Girê Bahar Resistance Area was punished with an assassination tactic.

— On February 20, at 11:54 and 16:25, the occupiers in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons. As a result of these actions, 2 positions were damaged.

5. Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with banned explosives;

— On February 18, our battle tunnels in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area of the Şehîd Delîl Western Zap region were bombed once with banned explosives.

6. Attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;

— Between 16 and 22 February, the Lolan, Kendekola, Berê Zînê, Goşînê Resistance Areas of the Xakurkê region 10 times; Eznê area of the Qendîl region once; Yekmalê, Girê, Dêreşê, Mam Nêçîr, Girê Zengil, Girê Kun, Zêvkê, Heftebax areas of the Garê region 11 times; Bêşîlî, Serê Metîna, Şêlazê Resistance Area of Metîna region 6 times; and Girê Bahar Resistance Area of Şehîd Delîl Batı Zap region 32 times were bombed by warplanes.
